BlackBerry - WES conference

So for those of you who don't know, there is an annual BlackBerry geek fest, every May in Orlando.  I love it.  There are many sessions to attend to find out what is coming down the pipe, case studies, etc. and then the fun happens at night where we got to see John Mayer perform one night.  Now I was with the Telus folks and we were really late getting there so had our own party in the back.  John Mayer?  :-)

So the biggest thing that came out was the announcement of the next generation BlackBerry, so check it out.  It is pretty sweet, better resolution, dual speakers, nicer keyboard, better browsing, just google blackberry bold to find out a ton of information!
 

The other cool thing at the conference is to get to see the third party applications. Documents2go will be on the next release of the BlackBerry.  What does that mean?  Well, you can now view, edit, create, microsoft documents.  There will be a free version on the new BlackBerrys and you can upgrade to do more for some crazy cheap price like $70.00.  I met Andy from DataViz and what a great guy and super pumped about this great new feature for the BlackBerry.
