So for those of you who don't know, there is an annual BlackBerry geek fest, every May in Orlando.  I love it.  There are many sessions to attend to find out what is coming down the pipe, case studies, etc. and then the fun happens at night where we got to see John Mayer perform one night.  Now I was with the Telus folks and we were really late getting there so had our own party in the back.  John Mayer?  :-)

Boy, I have to preface this with I love the product but something is going on at their offices and had to remove being an affiliate and giving you, my customers, a discount.   My customers would get 10 percent off and I would get a referral fee.  I wasn't doing huge business but recommended at every workshop as I loved it. Never had to carry my laptop around.

I found this ages ago on youtube but didn't get around to posting until a friend was telling me about her addiction.  If nothing else it will take you away for a for minutes and give you a laugh.  Or perhaps a reality check.  ha ha

David Spade's BlackBerry intervention.

So having read many a blog about how it works in other countries I am excited to test out the WIFI release on the Canadian GSM networks soon.  How soon?  Well I 'hear' in a few weeks.

Issues I have read about an want to test

1.  Will it work if you don't have a data plan?
2.  Can you use and app like Skype?
3.  If you do have a full data plan, will it just happen seamlessly?

A soft reset re-establishes communication between the BlackBerry device and the computer.

This is a never ending question and prompted me to write because my brother just got a BlackBerry and emailed me today asking " How do I change the ringer on my phone?" and constantly I get the question "How do I stop it from buzzing for every email I get?"

1. Go to Profiles
2. Go to your Active Profile -On the newer models and software you go to advanced options first
3. If you want to mute the buzzing from emails:

It has been a long haul getting the site up but we did it.  It took almost 5 months.  Wow but now my clients can start training using the web - based portion or live with an instructor.

Who knew there were all these deadline for print, banners, chairs, carpets!
